My group of friends are all so busy in their active Noosa lives – the hustle is real for working mums and entrepreneurs. We find ourselves now having to schedule a catch up well in advance — and that can mean a long time between drinks.
So, when we do finally get together, we like to make a day of it and really look forward to writing that next chapter in our story of friendship. Our favourite winter escape involves therapy for the body and mind (and champagne of course!). It’s a chance to slow down and really unpack the issues of the world, then reset before we return to our crazy lives.

A Thermal Suite Experience is just the cutest thing to do with your besties — treating ourselves to some pampering while catching up on all the goings-on in our crazy lives. My memories of our day spa adventures are full of laughter and support while we solve the serious problems in our worlds and workshop our way to success, serenity and sanity.
From the moment of arrival at the Noosa Springs Day Spa the energy shifts and we revert to our giggly teens, sip our welcome drink and make our way to the change rooms. The very act of getting into your day spa robe and slippers switches the mindset and with relaxation mode activated, we swan in and out of the Steam Room, Infrared Sauna, Blitz Shower and HydroMassage pool.
I can recall some of the funniest and deepest chats I’ve had with my girls in that pool — it has many stories it can tell but as we always say, “what happens in the thermal suite stays in the thermal suite”. If only those walls could talk. We actually call it the ‘hydro cone of silence’.
Given how much we have to catch up on, we always book a full school day of treatments to accompany our thermal suite experience — a SpaCation if you will. Some of us treat ourselves to a massage while others opt for a indulgent customised facial.
The grand finale is a group of completely relaxed women with clear minds and innovative new ideas enjoying high tea and sparkling wine in the peaceful and picturesque terraces — or a delicious lunch at Relish Restaurant overlooking the lush, world-famous Noosa Springs Golf Course.
