Matt Golinski’s View Restaurant, Phillip Johnson’s Ecco Brisbane, Andy Wilcox’s Peppers Noosa Resort and one of Australia’s highly celebrated female chefs with over 30 years experience in the culinary field, Gillian Hirst of Aveo Newstead, are collaborating to offer an unforgettable evening to showcase the best of QLD.

Phillip and Gillian are two chefs who helped transform Brisbane dining in the early 90’s from Oysters Kilpatrick and Chateaubriand to the modern, world class food scene it is today. More than 30 years later, their passion for food and their industry is as strong as it ever was. Both were a huge influence on Matt as a young chef and he is delighted to have them coming to spend some time in the View kitchen.

Guests are guaranteed an entertaining evening full of fun, with some surprise live performances on the cards too. The premise of the evening is to have fun, to enjoy a bit of banter, playful rivalry and a wonderful evening of food and wine.
