Deb Caruso joined foodies and friends to paint the town – and the plates – red to celebrate and support Noosa Reds.
Two of the most important things in life are good food and great friends to share it with. So when chefs Matt Golinski and Andy Wilcox wanted to help their good friends at Noosa Reds, they assembled a culinary crew for a one-night-only celebration and fundraising dinner.
Joining Matt (aroMATTic Food Co) and Andy (Peppers Noosa Resort & Villas) were friends and long-time fans of Noosa Reds, Andrea Ravezzani (Park & Cove), Shane Bailey (Noosa Boathouse) and Glen Barratt (In Pursuit of Pastry) for an unforgettable five-course dinner with Noosa Reds starring in every dish.
In honour of the flavour and passion behind Noosa’s iconic tomatoes, guests dressed in red for the sold-out event which raised almost $15,000 to assist Pete and Dory after extreme weather and disease wiped out much of their crop.
Peter shared stories of his humble beginnings and showed appreciation for the network of restaurants, chefs and diners who continue to support them.
