Morphing Into Avant Garde

Never seen before on the Sunshine Coast, creative teams from around Australia came together to present runway creations for Morphe Noosa. Inspired by an art exhibition of thought-provoking artworks by one of Australia’s leading Contemporary artists, Raquel Ormella, creative designers took over Noosa Regional Gallery to raise money for Friends Noosa Regional Gallery.

Morphe Noosa brought together the region’s best hair and makeup stylists, fashion and costume designers as well as local students and creatives from around Australia as part of NOOSA alive!

Pieces inspired by Game of Thrones to the Golden Days of Hollywood; trash to treasure; and an assortment of materials from beads and bling to rope and feathers were on display.

Creative canapés by Nick Blake from Wild Forage Australia and French wines were the perfect accompaniments for an extraordinary evening of avant-garde escapism!
