Bewitching Local Flavours at Park & Cove

It was a night full of fresh Queensland wines, local Noosa flavours and magic at Park & Cove’s Witches By Night Wine Dinner. Melanie Rosettenstein has the details.

The Witches Falls Wine Dinner presented by Park & Cove was an intimate evening brimming with lively conversation, exquisite food – and a touch of dancing! A Park & Cove Bellini with a cherry on top set the tone for a sophisticated yet relaxed night out, with the taro chips with turmeric coyo and romesco butter in high demand!

Director of Food & Beverage Andrew Wilcox introduced his expertly crafted menu with Katherine Sowter of Witches Falls Winery sharing tasting notes and tales behind the wines. A spell was cast from the first mouthful of the newly-released 2024 Provenance Home Estate Pecorino, perfectly paired with Noosa Reds’ Ox-Heart tomato, stracciatella, zucchini blossom, local seasonal beans, chilli and macadamia pangrattato – so fresh!

As was the Kingfish crudo with Noosa Natives finger limes, papaya and passionfruit with Witches Falls’ 2023 Wild Ferment Sauvignon Blanc. But it was the Piggy in the Middle pork belly with parsnip puree and mustard cress dressing that stole the show, along with the perfectly-matched 2022 Prophecy Syrah. To finish, the velvety Daintree Chocolate Melting Moment paired with NV Classic Tawny Port had everyone on their feet and dancing with delight. It was a magical evening celebrating local flavours and craftsmanship in both the menu and the wines.

Don’t miss the next event featuring the stunning Sirromet Wines and be sure to visit Park & Cove’s website for the monthly events and specials including the likes of $1 Chicken Wings, Taco Night, Lazy Sundays, Locals Lunch specials or Social Hours with live music and coastal drinks and food specials.

It’s no wonder Park & Cove at Peppers Noosa Resort & Villas is fast becoming the place where locals gather, drink and dine. www.parkandcovenoosa.com.au
