Now in its fourth year and considered one of Australia’s leading international motoring and lifestyle events, the multi-awarded Noosa Concours d’Elegance returns with a cavalcade of
50 curated, rare and iconic automobiles showcasing more than a century of design innovation and restoration.
Marvel as they glide along Noosa Parade into their designated 5-star spots on the Hastings Street promenade which will be closed to other traffic for the event. Look out for polished and prestige rare beauties such as these:
An Austin-Healey 100S sits at the very top of the marque’s history, built in limited numbers for competition and regarded as the most coveted Austin-Healey ever produced.
With only 180 built, the Facel Vega Facel II was among the most exclusive grand tourers of the early 1960s, combining French elegance and craftsmanship with the effortless power of a large American V8.
Presented in 1987 to mark Ferrari’s 40th anniversary, the F40 stands as one of the most significant performance cars ever produced. Its name is deeply symbolic with ‘F’ for Ferrari, and ‘40’ commemorating four decades since the first Ferrari road car was approved, instantly becoming the world’s fastest car to officially exceed 200 mph.
The 2011 Porsche 911 GT3 RS 4.0 occupies a rare space where engineering purity, timing and emotion collide, making it one of the most revered modern Porsches ever built. As the final evolution of the legendary Mezger engine, it draws directly from Porsche’s racing heritage with a drive cementing the legend. Limited to just 600 cars worldwide, six to Australia, the 4.0 is the holy grail, the ultimate analogue 911.
The inaugural Supercar Circle will debut alongside the celebrated Concours exhibition with modern automotive masterpieces from Rolls Royce, Ferrari, Lamborghini and McLaren, offering onlookers a rare opportunity to experience some of the world’s contemporary hypercars and performers celebrating legacy craftsmanship and cutting-edge innovation.
A special exhibition for 75 Years of Porsche in Australia will feature the first Porsche ever imported into Australia.
When it comes to the pinnacle of supremacy aka a rare expression of individuality, perfectly at home in Noosa’s world of effortless sophistication, is the one and only Rolls-Royce Ghost Extended.
Envisioned by the Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Brisbane team especially for the Noosa Concours and handcrafted in Goodwood by hundreds of artisans, the Ghost Extended is finished in Silver and Midnight Sapphire with a Grace White coachline, echoing the harmony of ocean, sky and shoreline. Inside, a refined palette reflects coastal surrounds, creating a serene, bespoke sanctuary.
“Repco powered Sir Jack Brabham to Formula One’s greatest ‘first’ in 1966, and winning the F1 Drivers’ Championship in his own car so it’s fitting that Repco powers the first-ever Anniversary Collection at the Noosa Concours d’Elegance,” says Repco executive Mitch Wiley, referring to Australia’s own Sir Jack Brabham AO, OBE, three-time Formula One World Champion and one of the most influential figures in motorsport.
This impressive display of eight historic Brabham motor racing masterpieces will honour the 60th anniversary of his win of the Formula 1 World Championship in a first-ever car of his name and construction. The calibre of the judging serves as a guardian of authenticity and upholds the values of craftsmanship, innovation, and passion that defines the automotive world. Four judges have the onerous task of selecting the winners including the Best in Show, presented by founding event partner Tom Offermann.
“Once again Noosa Concours promises to showcase an extraordinary calibre of automobiles, from the rare, competition bred Austin-Healey 100S and the elegant, transatlantic Facel Vega Facel II to the iconic Ferrari F40 and the ultra purist Porsche 911 GT3 RS 4.0,” Tom said.
“We are profoundly grateful to the owners who generously open what are usually private, secure collections to the world by sharing these beautifully preserved and historically significant machines.
“It’s a reminder that motoring heritage is meant to be seen, enjoyed and celebrated together.”
Adding to the automotive passion on display, a collection of Australia’s most renowned restorers, historians, and automotive experts will be on hand to guide guests through the history and work that goes into maintaining the incredible feats of engineering. Expect a carnival-like atmosphere as you stroll Hastings Street. Immerse yourself in live music, gelato bars, open-air cafés and bars abuzz.
Side events include a wine masterclass and dinner at Sails, a Long Lunch with Fashion at Miss Moneypenny’s, champagne masterclass and a Long Lunch featuring Rolls-Royce Brisbane at Locale, to name a few. Hastings Street Association President Ben Orton said Noosa Concours d’Elegance was becoming something incredibly special for the community and for the many visitors from across Australia and around the world who experience it.
