Guests were transported to a whole new world of first-class sporting and spectator glamour in the foothills of Cooroy Mountain for the first ever Noosa Polo Cup. Carlie Wacker caught all the action on and off the field!

The inaugural Noosa Country Cup at the Noosa Country Polo Club brought together the finest in fashion and first-class sporting action on what was the most perfect day for the event.

The sun was shining brightly on a field of fierce competition and the Bollinger champagne flowed freely as newcomers and diehard fans of Polo gathered to take in the region’s fanciest sporting event in the foothills of Cooroy Mountain.

Our own IN Noosa Magazine and Hello Sunshine Magazine polo teams played hard with the Cup won by the Colliers team in what guests called ‘the event of the year’. The stomping of the divots and foot race were absolute highlights for those new to the traditions of polo and those looking for the ultimate in pomp and ceremony made their way to the club via privately-chartered Salt Air Aviation Noosa helicopter.

White picket fences surrounded Peggy’s Square where the entertainment off the polo field included Fashions on the Field, award presentations and some fancy footwork as the DJ pumped out post-cup celebration tunes.

Some of the region’s most stylish men and women mingled amongst the marquees with the main event now lionized and feted. Stand by for the glamour and sporting glory of Noosa Polo Cup in 2022. Don’t miss it!
