In the past ten years the Conscious Life Holistic Wellness Festival has grown from a small community gathering to a festival far bigger than founder Laura Di Mambro could have imagined.
A personal journey of awakening led the former architect to gather like-minded people together a decade ago to share experiences. What she was not expecting at that time was an explosion of interest in wellness and spirituality. Cut to 2021 and the holistic health industry is one of the fastest growing in the lifestyle sector and after recent world health concerns the demand for alternatives and information is growing even more.
“There has been a huge rise in people following a healthier lifestyle plus a large number of people moving to the Sunshine Coast” Laura says. “People are becoming more aware and interested in exploring mindfulness and holistic approaches to living”.
This year the Holistic Wellness Festival returns with over 80 exhibitors, 4 breakout areas for practical experiences and a full timetable of guest speakers and leaders in health, wellness, and spirituality.
“The festival attracts both men and women interested in self-development, nutrition, yoga, fitness and healing” adds Laura. “After a really tough year for everyone, this is the coming together for a growing community of people dedicated to a healthy lifestyle and spiritually – to finally come together is brilliant”.
The most beautiful live music from Maetreyii, Lou Van Stone, Kate B and ‘As You Are’ will feed the soul with sounds of peace. The first floor has been allocated to meditation and mindfulness. Throughout the weekend you can escape into a Zen zone offering guided meditations and sound baths.
The two seminar rooms offer back-to-back session with the likes of Sandy Forster offering a workshop on manifesting abundance, Paul Seils helping you reset and Paul Williamson discussing past life regression for healing and growth. Seminars and mediations will run all day between 10am and 4pm. There is also a dedicated kid’s zone.
