Galloping into Glamour at Noosa Twilight Polo Fashions on the Field
The sun was shining and the outfits were on point at this year’s Noosa Twilight Polo at the Noosa AFL Oval, presented by Reed & Co.
IN Noosa Magazine was thrilled to host the Fashions on the Field competition, which meant we had front-row seats to view all the glamorous gals and guys as they showcased their beautiful looks in front of our judges: IN Noosa Fashion Editor Carlie Wacker, and Fashion Queensland Director Laura Churchill.
Our dynamic judging duo loved chatting to the contestants and finding all about the inspiration behind their outfits and where they’d sourced their pieces, and were blown away by the amazing looks on display – the standard was polo-risingly high!
The competition started on the stage just as the sun was going down, and contestants paraded their looks while the crowd applauded their efforts, before the winners were announced:

- Best Dressed: Natalie Mainwaring and Paula Sayer (joint winners)
- Best Suited: Andy Piggott
- Best Couple: James and Anne Marie O’Beirne
Our Overall Winner category judges – Sara Leonardi McGrath of IT’S A FAD by Sara Leonardi and Alexander Payne of Reed & Co – had been watching from the crowd, and they took to the stage to announce the Overall Winner of Noosa Twilight Polo Fashions on the Field 2024, Natalie Mainwaring, who was chosen for her timeless, elegant, polo-perfect style.

The winners from each category – Best Dressed, Best Couple and Best Suited – were presented with an exclusive bottle of Hello Sunshine Magazine Wild Peach Gin, while our very lucky Overall Winner Natalie won a bottle of Bollinger plus a TWO NIGHTS in a beachfront apartment at luxury resort Netanya Noosa with a bottle of exclusive Penfolds Champagne – Rosé or Cuvée Brut; a Welcome Hamper and Breakfast Voucher from Providore on Hastings, PLUS a Netanya Premium Cool Cabana!
The celebrations continued throughout the night as the IN Noosa Polo team were named Runners Up to the Sum Up Polo team, who were the overall winners of the event. Congrats, boys!
