Expect the extraordinary when globally-famous Concours d’Elegance brings its glitz, glamour and class to Noosa for the first time, enthuses Helen Flanagan.

The magnet for the multi-day celebration of Noosa Concours d’Elegance, will undoubtedly be Noosa Concours on Hastings Street, bringing together some of the world’s iconic luxury brands, enthusiastic owners and collectors.

Hastings Street will be closed for the display of more than 60 of the finest from across the decades with cars already entered being individually valued well into the millions, whilst historically it is back to 1911. Look out for a car fit for a Queen, yes literally!

Featuring renowned judges and esteemed personalities, the event will be the ultimate gathering of motoring connoisseurs and officiated by Sandra Button, the president of famed Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance in Carmel, California, regarded as a force to behold within the global motoring world.

It is also a one-off chance for enthusiasts and aficionados to marvel at eye-catching automobilia and join a guided tour, strolling, stopping and becoming totally immersed in the amazing stories of each vehicle.

Visit the Motorsports Salon, where speed meet style – place for car enthusiasts and motorsports fans alike, also enter the People’s Choice Award and vote for your favourite car.

Which one would you take home… in your dreams!

Live music and entertainment will add to the ambience of the street and there will be dining options aplenty at alfresco cafés and restaurants.

If your penchant is aeroplanes as well as automobiles, the official launch of Noosa Concours d’Elegance, at the Sunshine Coast Jet Centre has your name on the ticket.

The evening’s festivities for Where Art Meets Engineering: Aeroplanes and Automobiles, commence at dusk with an awe-inspiring aerial performance by the Red Bull Air Race Australian Champion, Matt Hall.

Inside at the opulent cocktail event, guests will be able to ogle at a splendid showcase of business jets and fine automobiles, some of which will be showcased at Concours on Hastings Street the next day.

On the outside tarmac, attendees will be captivated by a select display of larger business jets, available for inspection and enjoyment. Meanwhile, inside the hangar, guests will experience culinary delights, entertainment and beverages. An auction supporting a local charity is sure to tantalise the most discerning.
