Dog’s Life Pet Expo 2023

Every dog must have its day and there is one very special day in Noosa that brings together all the canine cuties. Carlie Wacker gets paw deep in A Dog’s Life Pet Expo that’s set to get tongues wagging.

Imagine all the dogs of all different shapes and sizes, colours and costumes, playing and prancing and participating in pretty much all the things that humans like to do.

It’s a dog (and dog lovers) dream come true and it’s a reality in Noosa. The annual A Dog’s Life Pet Expo is puppy love on steroids.

It’s a day we grab our favourite humans and furry friends and set about cementing our increasingly growing bond between man and dog.

Almost 50% of Australian households have one or more dogs and the pet industry keeps growing to accommodate our canine commitment.

The dog food, fashion and accessory market is at an all-time high; we are glued to social media to watch dogs doing funny stuff; and our furry friends often eat and dress better than us!

We love dogs and Noosa continues to provide ways to include our pets in our lives from dog friendly eateries and shopping experiences to the ultimate dogs day out – A Dog’s Life Pet Expo.

This event brings together the best of all the suppliers of dog products and services in our area in one action-packed day of doggy goodness.

You will find all the information you need to ensure your best fur mate is living its healthiest and happiest life.

Dogs will be spoilt with treats like pet popsicles and doggy donuts, new leads and collars, there is a pooch playground and this year there will be a doggy Picasso – yep, your dog can paint.

Demonstrations will take place during the day to highlight the incredible abilities of working and assistance dogs; there is grooming advice, obedience training, educational speakers and panel discussions.

In the showcase arena I will be conducting furry Fashions On The Field with my Swiss Shepherd son and sidekick Harry Wacker. This year we will judge Best Dressed and Best Canine Mini-me (best matching pooch and person); the competition is always fierce to find the Best Trick Dog and in a first, we will debut the Hot Dogs Sausage Dog parade.

The expo will be officially opened by Noosa Mayor Clare Stewart with live music by dog-obsessed Andrea Kirwin, who identifies as a Golden Retriever!

A Dog’s Life Pet Expo is not only the most fun you will ever have with your fur kids but a celebration of the special bond between humans and their furry companions while raising much-needed funds for PTSD Dogs Australia.

The Sunshine Coast charity that rescues, rehabilitates, and trains psychiatric PTSD assistance dogs for veterans and first responders who are suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), as a result of their service to our community.

All entry donations will go directly to this valuable community service and last year the event raised over $10,000 for PTSD Dogs Australia.

Register your attendance and donate to PTSD Dogs Australia through www.adogslifepetexpo.com.au
