Charlie Shelley discovers community, creativity, and culinary excellence at Park & Cove.

Park & Cove has established itself as a go-to dining destination for those who want to indulge in the finest local flavours while soaking in a relaxed, resort-style atmosphere. Nestled in amongst the treetops at Peppers Noosa Resort & Villas and overlooking stunning Laguna Bay, this iconic Noosa restaurant is about more than just good food – it is a place where connections are made, friendships are formed and good memories abound.

Community is central to the Park & Cove ethos, so now it’s giving back to the Sunshine Coast locals who have shaped and supported it with two unique offers designed to add a burst of flavour and a touch of luxury to the work week.

The first is the Love Noosa Lunch, the restaurant’s weekday midday offering available from 12pm to 2.30pm, Monday to Friday. For just $38, diners will receive a spectacular two-course lunch along with a glass of wine or local beer – the perfect pick-me-up to beat that pesky afternoon slump that tends to hit halfway through the day.

The menu has been carefully curated by Head Chef Andrea Ravezzani and is inspired by his deep and embodied understanding of gastronomy, with a commitment to excellence and passion for working with local produce.

To start, enjoy premium sourdough bread that has been hand-crafted by the artisans at Ten Acres, an organic bakery tucked away in the rural town of Ninderry, and paired with a rich and creamy smoked butter. What follows will vary according to the ingredients available from local growers, fishers and producers.

Chef Andrea’s Snack of the Day is guaranteed to surprise and delight in equal measure, given his distinguished culinary background and charming Italian flair.
It will set the scene for a delectable decision on what to choose for a main dish which will generally feature options from both land and sea.

Those who love fish might opt to feast on tender pan-fried barramundi from Bowen-based Coral Coast Barramundi, renowned by chefs from across Australia for its superb texture and clean, sweet taste. It comes coated in an irresistible, slightly tangy lemon butter sauce that will make even the most jaded foodie’s mouth water, and is served with a side of creamy mash and perfectly-steamed broccolini.

Poultry fans can look forward to chargrilled spatchcock courtesy of Moya Valley Poultry, an accredited free-range chicken producer from Imbil. Cooked ‘alla diavola’ – a technique also referred to as the ‘Devil’s Style ‘owing to the intense heat applied in the cooking process – this spatchcock is truly something to behold.
Its bold, smoky and well-seasoned flavour blends perfectly with the earthiness of roasted potato and heirloom carrots.

Finally, those in the mood for something more rustic can opt for traditional homemade fettuccine. These smooth, flat ribbons of pasta made from wheat and egg offer a mild, faintly buttery taste and a soft, satisfying chew.

Paired with a saucy and flavour-packed eggplant ragout, and topped off with a pinch of fresh basil and a dash of umami in the form of shaved Parmigiano Reggiano, this hearty meal will satiate your hunger and transport you to the sun-baked Mediterranean.

In addition to the Love Noosa Lunch menu, the à la carte Park & Cove menu is also available for lunch and dinner and is packed with the region’s finest ingredients to bring Noosa’s unique flavours to life with creativity and flair.

Keep an eye out for the monthly Producers of the Month highlighting favourite food and beverage producers with feature dishes and matching drinks.
Want to get over the mid-week hump? Every Wednesday from 5.30pm to 8pm is Local’s Night. Simply show your ID to enjoy 15 percent off Park & Cove’s food and drink menu as a thank you for the support that the community provides.

It’s the perfect opportunity to kick back with friends and family at the end of a long day to indulge in some of the best flavours that Noosa has to offer. The extensive drinks menu has something for everyone – from smooth liqueurs to crisp and refreshing aperitifs, warm, full-bodied spirits and more.

Highlights for winter include the Witches Falls Wild Ferment Grenache – a spicy, evocative and sophisticated red wine with notes of red stone fruits, plums and mulberries which hails from Tamborine Mountain; or for the beer lovers, Heads of Noosa’s award-winning American Style Amber Larger has been brewed with a blend of six malts to deliver subtle hints of toffee and caramel.

Park & Cove continues to prove that celebrating all things local truly is a winning recipe.

In that sense, Park & Cove is not just offering an extraordinary culinary experience – it is offering a reminder that the best meals are often the ones that understand exactly where they are and who they are serving.
