Noosa was awash with fabulous fashion, fine food and fantastic fun for the race that stops the nation. We sent Ian Waldie along to capture all the colour.
From Noosa’s award-winning restaurants to more relaxed affairs at Sunshine Beach Surf Club and 4 Pines Noosa, the punters frocked up and showed up to come together for the Melbourne Cup.
Whether you are a racing expert or just enjoy a casual flutter, here in Noosa the focus was on dressing up and coming together to enjoy fine food and hospitality to support our local venues.
Fabulous fascinators and pops of colour were the order of the day with feathers, flowers and frills in abundance.
