Serenity Now At Settler’s Cove

The latest stage of Settler’s Cove is well underway with limited opportunity for locals to live the resort-style life as Deb Caruso discovers.

I remember first touring Settler’s Cove more than ten years ago as the Editor of a weekly lifestyle publication and thinking how refreshing it was to see so much thought given to the local environment and connectivity to the river, as well as the design and functionality of the house-sized apartments and facilities.

Fast forward a decade and while the media landscape keeps changing, Settler’s Cove is still here quietly adding new stages to the $400 million project. Nestled in a quiet cul-de-sac aptly-named Serenity Close, and with direct access to Noosa River and in walking distance to Hastings Street and the emerging cultural precinct of Noosa Junction, it’s no wonder the project has seen strong interest in its latest offering, Lumina Residences.

The fourth stage in the project repeats the winning formula of providing stunning apartments with beautiful views and surrounded by the natural environment and resort-style facilities.

Created by privately-owned Cape Bouvard Developments Pty Ltd, Settler’s Cove has been part of the Noosa community for eleven years with more than 70 apartments already completed in previous stages.

Sales and Marketing Manager Dane Larcombe said the demand for residences had been consistently strong.

“Earlier stages of Settler’s Cove sold out and are now enjoying strong resale figures,” he said. “With new developments in Noosa so tightly held and a location like no other, the release of Lumina Residences has seen an immediate response from buyers with five apartments already under contract.”

All residences are three-bedroom, two-car with resort-style facilities, exclusive jetty access to Noosa River; and located in a quiet environment yet close to key business and tourist districts with walking paths to Noosa River and The J entertainment precinct.

Dane said sales in Settler’s Cove had been strong with a high proportion of buyers coming from the local area and appreciating the luxury of time that buying off the plan offered.

“Lumina Residences will build on the previous stage with its design aspects, the latest fixtures and fittings and the advantages of being part of an exclusive enclave,” he said. “Resale figures from earlier stages provide a strong return and there is a strong sense of community amongst the owners of each stage.

“Our residents tend to lead an active lifestyle and still want the space and accessibility to Noosa hot spots but in a quiet and central location,” he said. “They are seeking to improve their lifestyle while simplifying their lives by minimising yard and pool maintenance. Settler’s Cove offers all the benefits of resort-style facilities in a central location while being surrounded by nature.”

The project sits on 36 hectares overlooking Noosa River surrounded by lush vegetation with half of the site provided back to Council as a Conservation-protected zone.

Construction of the first stage of Lumina Residences is expected to be finalised in 2020 with the overall project aiming for completion in three-to-four years. But you had better be quick to secure your slice of serenity before the secret gets out!
