The Key to Community Connections with Keyton
Melanie Rosettenstein discovers a new retirement village where community, connection and comfort come naturally.
The newest retirement village in Sunrise Beach offers residents the key to a connected community and living life to the fullest!
Keyton’s Retirement Living Lifestyle Report published last year revealed that 44% of retired residents wished they had moved into a retirement facility earlier, while 54% agreed that the cost of moving into a retirement facility was lower than they originally expected.
At Keyton, statistics like these matter, which is why places like their Sunrise Beach Village project are designed to be affordable, active communities where residents have fewer worries and more time to do the things they love.
Keyton Chief Executive Officer Nathan Cockerill says Sunrise Beach Village is going to be a phenomenal place offering a wonderful lifestyle in an area where retirement living is much needed.
“It’s a place that exemplifies the Keyton difference reflecting our ongoing commitment to delivering exceptional lifestyle communities where residents can live healthier, happier more connected lives,” he said.
The joint project between Keyton and BlueCare, brings together the benefits of the existing Sunrise Beach Aged Care facility with a brand-new retirement village to deliver spacious two-and-three-bedroom units and an active, caring community with top-notch facilities in a highly desirable location, between Noosa National Park and pristine beaches and close to Noosa Junction and Hastings Street.
Sound like bliss?
Keyton Sales Manager Michele Stevens says that’s not all!
“Downsizing to move into a community like this brings peace of mind,” she says. “You don’t need to maintain things like a pool or deal with the aftermath of a storm; it’s all taken care of.”
The Village Management Team is on hand to support residents and can provide essential services such as maintenance, gardening, bus transport and a 24-hour emergency call service.
Once complete, Sunrise Beach Village will feature 122 high-end independent living retirement homes a stone’s throw from the already established BlueCare aged care facility.
“The comfort of knowing this facility is next door in case their circumstances change is a drawcard for many clients,” Michele says.
Homes in Stage One are now selling and include 15 apartments and 29 villas.
Designed for easy living, the two-and-three-bedroom villas and apartments feature thoughtful layouts and tasteful interior details to enhance the sense of space and comfort. Features such as open floor plans, high ceilings, and large windows have been designed to harness natural light, maximise brightness and create an inviting atmosphere.
Residents can choose between two colour schemes which draw on the village’s stunning natural surroundings while generous open-plan kitchens and large balconies and patios are perfect for indoor-outdoor living and entertaining.
It is expected that the first residents will move in at the end of the year once all community facilities have been built.
And what fantastic facilities they are!
Residents can enjoy a state-of-the-art clubhouse with hobby rooms, a fitness centre, private theatre, sauna, hair salon, dining area, library, heated swimming pool, and more. Those with a green thumb and a taste for homegrown vegetables can dig in at the community kitchen gardens conveniently located within the Village.
Nearby is the Sunrise Beach Shopping Precinct with an IGA Supermarket, BWS, pharmacy, and more. Golfers and those who enjoy a pamper session will love the proximity of Noosa Springs Golf & Spa Resort, while the Sunshine Beach Surf Club, with stunning views, delicious food and good vibes, is a short drive away.
Keyton and BlueCare have invested more than two million dollars into sustainability efforts, including restoring three hectares of degraded land at Girraween Nature Refuge. The area is protected bushland with She-Oaks planted to support future habitats for the Glossy Black-Cockatoo.
Michele says the potential for connection and community is key.
“You’re surrounded by neighbours who share the same values, who want to create a supportive environment,” she explained. “It becomes less about the bricks and mortar and more about the community it fosters.”
Whether you’re seeking an active lifestyle, peace of mind, or simply more time to do what you love, this is your chance to make it happen.
