Avant Garde & Alive!

Heads will turn as some of Noosa’s leading creatives join forces to present an avant-garde immersion of hair, art, fashion & food.

As part of NOOSA alive! Morphe Noosa makes its beguiling debut on the Sunshine Coast and it will be like nothing you’ve seen before! Featuring stunning creations from the region’s best hair and makeup stylists, as well as outrageous fashion and costume design, this thought-provoking event will be set against a backdrop of compelling, activist-inspired artworks by one of Australia’s leading contemporary artists, Raquel Ormella.

The event is the brainchild of Friends of Noosa Regional Gallery and IN Noosa Magazine with local creatives answering the call to flex their creative muscles and tap into their wildest dreams – and raise funds for the Gallery at the same time.

IN Noosa Fashion Editor and Creative Director of Morphe Noosa, Carlie Wacker said she had always wanted to be part of the theatre; the drama and interactive escapism that is the performing arts.

“I have always wanted to curate a show where I could step right into the fantasy world and be swept up in all the colour and crazy, the weird and the wacky,” Carlie says.

“Guests will be transported into an alternate reality where everything feels so fancy and fictional. Eyes will turn in every direction to see, hear and taste what comes next.”

See collections by the cream of Noosa’s creative crop including:
Smyths Inc
Madame Melanie
Adrienne Reid with Surrender Dorothy
Sunshine Beach State High School with Photo Finish Makeup

Runway creations will be presented along with creative canapés by Wild Forage Australia and French wines amidst a sea of innovative artworks and inspired music from a live DJ.

Don’t miss this inspiring night to remember!
