The family fun kicks off with Santa Sundays on Sunday 10 and Sunday 17 December when Santa Claus’ Cabana will be open to one and all, regardless of whether they’ve been naughty or nice!
Laze on the lawn in the sunshine, let the kids canter about in the wide-open spaces, cheer on the horses as they thunder past, and keep tummies full
and moods high with the delectable range of trackside food and drinks that will satisfy even the pickiest of eaters.
More than just a day at the races, Santa Sundays are an opportunity to gather to celebrate community and family as this year gallops to a close and enjoy the magic of Christmas together!
The Boxing Day Races and New Year’s Eve Twilight Races are popular events on the annual racing calendar and a rite of passage for many families – and both days will be made even better by the range of delights on offer at the family fun zone, including pony rides (adorable!), a jumping castle, lawn games and a selection of talented entertainers that’ll keep your little people happy and occupied while you have one eye on them, one on the track.
And don’t miss the Coastline BMW Sunshine Coast Cup on 27 January 2024 – a huge Saturday race day featuring all the excitement of the family fun zone alongside world-class racing and a truly electric atmosphere!
Not only does the Sunshine Coast Turf Club prioritise keeping families’ spirits high with plenty of fun and frolics this season, admission for under 18s is free!
And if you can’t make it to one of the major racing events, their staple Friday Night Races and Sunday Races are always an excellent way to kick back, socialise with friends and soak up those Sunshine Coast summer vibes.
