What’s brewing, cooking and happening…

NEW NOSH
Noosa’s hospitality scene has been going off like a Friday night kitchen. Are we ready for Noosa’s first true rooftop bar? Hell yes! Noosa Junction is getting a serious glow-up with New York Minute finalising plans for a dedicated rooftop bar – live music, sunset drinks and private events overlooking the tree-lined, fairy-light lit main street – sublime!

The Pavilion has its own exciting plans: a French Pâtisserie is preparing to rise…

Keep your eyes peeled for two more cracking openings on the horizon.
The Three Oarsmen coastal café and wine bar has hit the waterfront on Gympie Terrace.

Find Good Asian (literally) on Hilton Tce Tewantin and seek out The Curry Kid in Cooran for traditional Indian curries that the locals can’t get enough of! Currently only Wednesdays from 4.30pm until sold out. Chef-owner Ro says they’re planning more, including a Supper Club. The social media @the.currykid is awesome!

Noosa Civic is making things more social with the opening of The Civic Social. This espresso bar and brunch hub is open 7am-2pm daily and is from the team behind The Coolum Social. Plus, it’s licenced…to thrill!

Kin Kin Hotel keeps coming up with the goods – they’re cooking up a special Thursday night offer in The Woodshed plus they’re bringing the sourdough goodness of The Bakehouse to the Noosa River – watch this space!

IN GOOD SPIRITS
Noosa Heads Distillery has just released its new Peter Phillips Gin – a tribute to the late, iconic British pop artist (and former IN Noosa cover artist of summer 2019-2020!) who called Noosa home in his later years. It fittingly has bold botanicals and bags of personality! Get yours before its gone.

DO YOU YUZU?
It’s winter which means our friends at Sunshine & Sons Premium Spirits are distilling the small batch, limited-edition Yuzu Gin – bright, bold and bursting with citrus flavour! Also, try the Biosphere Gin with elderflower and native black myrtle – divine! Buy 2 bottles and get 50% of your 3rd! Open from 10am daily or buy online.

APERITIVO HOUR
Locale Noosa has brought back its beloved aperitivo hour with cicchetti — including the triumphant return of THAT gnocchi (you know the one, IYKYK) — because some dishes are simply too good to keep seasonal. Perfect for those “let’s just share a few plates” evenings that always end in dessert, cocktails and no regrets.

And Colombo Foodies’ Chef Udee is back at the Noosa Farmers Market — returning to where it all began. Don’t miss the addictive in-house Sri Lankan spice blends. There’s also a Midweek Locals Table of 3 courses for $55 at the restaurant itself, or the legendary two-pot lunch for $21.95.
