Deb Caruso delves into the cool and creative culinary crew that form The Ohana Group family.

Chef Ryan Fitzpatrick and his stylish, stylist wife Rashi have been a creative force in food and events in the region since establishing The Ohana Group five years ago.

True to the origins of the name ‘Ohana’ which is Hawaiian for family, Ryan and Rashi have built a tribe of businesses focused around delivering exceptional experiences and services that are as stylish as they are delicious.

The newest addition to the family is Petrifleur, a premium, sustainable floral brand that captures timeless beauty in dried floral arrangements. The passion of Events Specialist and Stylist Rashi, the ethically-sourced and custom-made pieces are where fashion meets art to create showstopping installations – from small tablescapes to mesmerising masterpieces as seen in venues such as Locale and The Ohana Group’s own Lánai Noosa.

Located across from the stunning Noosa River on the corner of Thomas Street and Gympie Terrace, Lánai Noosa brings Ryan’s love of sustainably sourced seafood, native ingredients, and locally crafted artisan products from his passion to your plate. The menu is designed to be shared and savoured with creative cocktails providing additional inspiration. Not yet a year old, the modern Australian restaurant has become one of the region’s hottest dining destinations with Noosa Eat & Drink Festival organisers engaging Lánai Food to deliver catering to the Chandon VIP Lounge within the Festival Village; and for a culinary takeover as part of the Festival Sundowners in the new-look Beach Garden.

Venū is a multi-purpose creative space in the Coolum Industrial Precinct and is the base for The Ohana Group. The functional office, storage space and commercial kitchen belies the magical experiences that await inside.

A purpose-built creative food and production studio with fully-equipped open plan chef’s kitchen is perfect for food storytellers and culinary creations; and a dedicated Chef’s Table delivers front row seats for an up close and personal food experience for up to 10 guests to enjoy an impressive mouth-watering tasting menu featuring native ingredients with matching beverages. The Mezzanine offers exclusive space for larger private groups, from formal to fun but always stylish and discreet.

Providing exquisite offsite catering for weddings, corporate events and festivals, Ohana Dining can design and execute a bespoke menu for large events and in-home private dining experiences.

The Ohana Group’s network of local and national artisan producers and growers ensures the freshest fusion of flavours with stunning styling and event management to deliver a professional and polished outcome.

From cocktails at Lánai to stunning styling or delivering your dream event, The Ohana Group will deliciously deliver divine outcomes.
