Both parents and kids will be jumping for joy at Noosa Civic these school holidays as their Ultimate Ninja Kids’ Course provides children with the chance to scramble, swing and leap to their hearts’ content, discovers Rebecca Jamieson Dwyer.

There’s one thing every parent looks for during the school holiday – activities that are guaranteed to tire the kids out. Luckily, Noosa Civic got the memo!

When it comes to these winter school holidays, don’t miss the arrival of their Ultimate Ninja Kids’ Course – a giant inflatable obstacle course where kids can scramble, climb, run and leap with abandon, racing against their friends to see who can be the fastest ninja.

Not only is this a great way to burn off excess energy come rain or shine, there are also multiple benefits to kids challenging themselves on the ninja course, including improving coordination, practising climbing and balancing skills, building core and upper body strength, discovering their own physical limits, challenging themselves to do hard things, and more.

Suitable for kids over 90cm high and five years old, it promotes risky play in a controlled setting, so you can grab a coffee and sit down while they do all the hard work (or you can accompany little ones on there if you feel like helping them unleash their inner baby ninja).

The Ultimate Ninja Kids’ Course will be open from Wednesday 26 June to Tuesday 2 July from 10am to 1pm, and entry is completely FREE!

In other exciting Noosa Civic news, Sharp Jiu Jitsu and the Commonwealth Bank of Australia (CBA) have just arrived in the centre, giving you more options than ever before when it comes to fitness and finance.

A world-class academy, Sharp Jiu Jitsu teaches Brazilian Jiu-jitsu from ages three and up, fusing Brazilian Jiu-jitsu and self-defence with popular group functional fitness under the guidance of elite coaches. Meanwhile, CBA have relocated their only branch in the area from Noosa Heads to a brand-new $1.5 million branch in the business centre, giving customers an exciting new space in which to do their banking.

Work has also been forging ahead on the much-anticipated Noosa Business Centre – a thriving and sustainable enterprise-based centre, which will provide the community with a brand new Medihub, a modern, purpose-built Early Learning Centre, and a stunning, leafy Village Green-style entertainment precinct, complete with cafes, restaurants and a Reading Cinemas complex.

As part of this development, a stylish new residential complex, Hof Noosaville, is scheduled for completion in 2025, being described as ‘Where Noosa comes home’ and celebrating our coastal, casual lifestyle, these one, two- and three-bedroom apartments will be nestled in leafy surrounds, and have been carefully designed to capture the light, beauty and breezes of the surrounding hinterland.

Fun activities, amazing shopping, and exciting plans to build a strong community for the future? Make sure you jump into Noosa Civic this winter!
