Locale’s Gala Dinner was the cherry on top of the Noosa Eat & Drink 2024 Program, Deb Caruso indulged in an unforgettable evening.
Locale Noosa ended the 2024 Noosa Eat & Drink Festival with a star-studded and simply sensational Gala Dinner!
The sell-out event featured Locale’s Head Chef Chris Hagan alongside Ben Williamson of Brisbane’s award-winning Agnes, and Jason Saxby of Byron Bay’s beloved institution, Rae’s on Wategos – creating what MC Chris Parsons described as a “chef supergroup, rivalling The Avengers”.
The event started with a series of Antipasti created by the superstars including Ben’s Pork & Prawn in Betel Leaf, Prawn Emulsion, Smoked Arabushi; Jason’s Kangaroo ‘Tart-are’ of Diced Kangaroo, Tonnato Dressing, Capers and Pickled Chilli; and Chris’ Scamorza, Anchovy and Rapa Panzerotto plus a Rosemary Focaccia with Whipped Cream Ricotta and Smoked Salt – divine!
Drinks were superbly matched, including finishing with Rio’s recommendation of an Amaretto as the perfect partner for Chris’ Semi Freddo!
In addition to the stunning four-course feast, the service was first-class service with the warmth and expertise that Rio and Corrado Capurso and their team are known for. Bravo!
