The latest salon for a national brand is a partnership between a Noosa local and hair industry icon that has been years in the making. EdwardsAndCo is getting ready to turn heads.
EdwardsAndCo, Australia’s leading hair agency is the latest prestige retail brand to call Noosa home, but the project has been years in the making.
In 2018 EdwardsAndCo founder Jaye Edwards was having dinner with friend, client and mentor Amanda Stevens. The Noosa local who has run motivational and retail training programs for the EdwardsAndCo teams across the country for nearly a decade, was encouraging Jaye to open a salon in Noosa.
“Knowing how well the brand is a fit for Noosa and how much demand there is for a premium salon offering, it seemed like the obvious next expansion point for EdwardsAndCo,” said Amanda.
Jaye half-joked that they should partner and do it together. Fast forward four years and EdwardsAndCo Noosa, the ninth Australian salon in the stable and a joint venture between Jaye and Amanda has opened. Conveniently located in Noosaville, the space includes all the stunning hallmarks of the EdwardsAndCo design that has made it a favourite with celebrities across Australia.
Aside from its luxurious spaciousness and unique aesthetics – including a full wall mural from internationally acclaimed artist Brian Connolly – EdwardsAndCo Noosa brings together some of the brightest and freshest talent from around the country.
Famous for sparkling brunettes, killer curls, creamy blondes and textured beach waves, EdwardsAndCo has developed a signature look that is synonymous with the brand, garnering a cult following internationally.
Each stylist has their own unique flair, ensuring a tailored and truly unique service to suit every client’s needs.
At the heart of the brand is future-proof hair colour and seamless blends which set the standard in luxury hair.
Jaye founded EdwardsAndCo with his first salon in Sydney at the age of 23. His ground-breaking colour techniques soon gained the attention of celebrities and influencers. Today, he has nine salons, a global education business and a haircare range under his belt.
Amanda Stevens is a speaker and author who is a global thought leader on the customer experience.
She can now add ‘local business owner’ to her list of accolades. “Partnering with Jaye to bring everything I love and admire about this brand to my home town is a dream come true,” she says.
Jaye, who will spend a few days a month in the Noosa salon, agrees.
“This salon has been years in the making and we’re so proud to be bringing the brand to Noosa in what is by far the most spacious, luxurious salon space in the area,” he says.
“We’ve built a world-class team of stylists and Amanda and I believe we will set a new standard for Noosa in both hair and client experience.”
