If you prefer someone else to do all the hard work for you, you’ll love the hearty housemade ready-to-eat meals in the fridge and freezer section, such as the classic and vegetarian gluten-free, organic lasagnes; spring risotto; massaman lamb curry; and mungbean kitchari; as well as the nourishing soups including pea and ham; tomato and lentil; and kale and broccoli, which Nilla says is a firm customer favourite. No meal is complete without condiments and pickles, and Nilla’s Pantry doesn’t disappoint with delights like the housemade pickled cauliflower; pickled radishes; olive tapenade; fermented harissa and the legendary turmeric cashew cheese which Nilla said customers often refer to as ‘crack’ as it is as addictive as it is delicious!
