For lovers of art, design and architecture, spring sees the return of Queensland’s largest art trail when 94 artists and galleries open their creative spaces for Noosa Open Studios; the welcome mat is out to some of the region’s most fascinating buildings, from tiny homes to heritage-listed icons and stunning gardens, during Sunshine Coast Open House; and you can head to the hills for an immersion of art in the environment for Sculpture on the Edge! Each event brings a host of free activities and ticketed workshops offering something for everyone – plus there is an abundance of outstanding art exhibitions at local galleries throughout spring.
