The Avenue will come alive on four not-to-be-missed feature Race Days of music, racing and fun in 2024: the 91.1 Hot FM Ladies Oaks Day on Friday 31 May; Caloundra Cup Day on Saturday 6 July; Melbourne Cup on Tuesday 5 November; and Mooloolaba Cup Day on Saturday 16 November.
First up, don’t miss the 91.1 Hot FM Ladies Oaks Day on Friday 31 May – a Race Day that combines the lively ambience of a festival with a passion for fashion and the thrill of thoroughbred racing! Revel in The Avenue’s thrilling atmosphere, courtesy of live music from Super Disco Club on the Main Stage, along with top DJs Emma Peters and Jake Webb who’ll keep the party going all afternoon and well into the evening.
Fancy being a VIP for the day? Join fellow merrymakers at the exclusive Red Hot Garden Party in The Establishment, which boasts luxuries including premium indoor-outdoor seating, trackside views, diverse bars, a food truck park with two vouchers, and intimate performances by Emma Peters and Jake Webb.

Taryn was previously at Flemington Victoria Race Club before making the move to Queensland with her young family, and has been collaborating with interior and event stylist Melanie Barone of The Style Dispensary – who she previously joined forces with at Flemington – for all Sunshine Coast Turf Club’s space designs and activations.
“Melanie’s an absolute creative force, and I love collaborating with her,” Taryn says. “Not only is Sunshine Coast Turf Club currently the world’s busiest grass track, with more races per year than any other, but it’s now one of the most exciting in terms of the stunning spaces and the variety of entertainment and events on offer!
“The SCTC team have worked hard to build this beautiful space, and we can’t wait to share it with people.”
