About
Now in its 24th year, NOOSA alive! ignites the senses with live shows, literary events and thought-provoking, sensory performances accompanying food and wine, with Noosa as the backdrop. Celebrating its milestone year in 2026, the festival presents a diverse program attracting some of the best Australian and international performers, writers, filmmakers, musicians, artists, chefs, environmentalists and commentators.
Set on Kabi Kabi/Gubbi Gubbi country, the spectacular events take place across iconic Noosa locations — including local restaurants, theatres and outdoor venues — blending art and entertainment with Noosa’s famous natural beauty and relaxed lifestyle. Previously known as the Noosa Long Weekend, the festival was founded in 2002 by David and Kristin Williamson. Held over 10 days each July, this year’s dates are Friday 17 to Sunday 26 July.
