Studio One Noosa began as an online gallery, launched by contemporary artist Juanita Van Den Bergh and partner Richard Donelly to give her nature-inspired abstract paintings wider exposure. Within 24 hours of listing online, they’d made their first sale, and the idea quickly grew into something bigger: a collective now representing more than 20 local artists, offering original works and limited-edition fine art prints to collectors across Australia and beyond.
The concept has since expanded into a full creative hub on Gateway Drive, Noosaville, combining working studio, exhibition space, photography and professional print services. Quarterly solo exhibitions give artists room to present a full body of work, complete with buzzy launch nights, immersive installations and a genuine sense of community.
Juanita, a finalist in the 2023 Kennedy Prize, continues to paint on-site, while Richard’s photography and printing expertise underpins the gallery’s polished, professional edge. Together, they’re determined to put Noosa firmly on the map as an art destination.
