Tucked into the ground floor of Noosa Council’s riverside offices in Tewantin, Noosa Regional Gallery has been part of the region’s creative fabric since 1981, making it one of the oldest regional galleries in Queensland. Close to the water — just a short stroll from Noosa Marina, it’s easy to pair a gallery visit with coffee by the river and it’s open all year-round.
Under Director Michael Brennan — who also lends his expertise to IN Noosa as our Arts Contributor — the Gallery brings together a rotating program of local, national and international exhibitions, plus artist talks, masterclasses and workshops for all ages. Every two years it also delivers Floating Land, its acclaimed environmental art event held across natural sites around Noosa. Entry is free, and the gift shop is worth a browse for locally made treasures.
