Noosa Chocolate Factory began in 2009 as a small kitchen in Noosaville, founded by Pam and Gordon Thomson with a simple ambition: to make extraordinary chocolate from the finest ingredients. More than 15 years on, it’s grown into one of Australia’s most-loved chocolate brands, now backed by more than 100 team members and stores across Noosaville, Sunshine Plaza and Brisbane.
Every slab, hamper and rocky road is still handcrafted using traditional methods, palm oil free, and made with generous cocoa content, 70% in its dark chocolate, well above many mass-market brands. Local produce features heavily, from Queensland strawberries and mangoes to Australian-grown macadamias and pecans, with fillings like marshmallow and caramel made fresh in-house.
Through cocoa price spikes and industry shortcuts elsewhere, Noosa Chocolate Factory has held its ground on quality, proof that a Noosa-grown business can scale without losing its soul.
