Tucked into the lush Sunshine Coast hinterland rainforest, just a short walk from the iconic Big Pineapple, Sunshine & Sons is a boutique distillery crafting award-winning gin, vodka and spirits inspired by sub-tropical days, ocean beaches and rainforests — a vision they call “The Coast Spirit.” Freshly crowned Best Queensland Distillery at both the 2025 and 2026 Royal Queensland Awards, the distillery door is open daily from 10am until sunset for tastings, tours and cocktails.
Every spirit is pot-distilled using a curated mix of local and traditional botanicals, produced on gleaming Tasmanian-made stills named Sarah and Maria, honouring the area’s history and family legacy. Visitors can join a Distillery Experience, shake things up at a Cocktail Masterclass, or go deeper with the exclusive Founder’s Tour — with kids, dogs and picnics all welcome on the terrace (BYO alcohol excepted).
